Free Professional Values & Story Index survey

The Professional Values & Story Index (PVSI) is designed to help people understand what's most meaningful and motivating to them in their work lives, and how their strengths and values add up to a "story type" that personifies their professional success factors. Take the instrument now, and see which one of the 12 story types is most like you.

You can also use this instrument to look at your organization through a story-based lens. Just think about your group or organization as a person, and answer the questions the way you think that "person" would.

Does the "real you" long to be a Magician at work, a person who's a catalyst for change and transformation? Would you love to run a business that allows you to be a Caregiver who supports and develops others? Would the leader within you be energized in a role as a Creator who motivates inventiveness in your workplace?

Discover Your StoryBrand profiles these and nine other unique, distinctive "story types" that can define and bring to life who you are and what you want to stand for in your working world. Subtitled 12 story-based styles to shape your professional identity and let the world know who you really are, the book presents a new view of professional meaning and motivation that says we're at our best when we define and develop the essential story we were born to tell.

Based on best-selling author Carol S. Pearson's 12-archetype model for individual and group motivation, Discover Your Storybrand is the first book that provides a process and concrete steps for identifying your professional "story type"—and expressing it in a way that fulfills you while allowing others to truly recognize your value.
